And let's not forget he beat the great Andre Schulze today ;)

Let's not forget this is his first year as a pro and nobody expects him to win Paris-Roubaix in his first year or beat Cavendish in a sprint.

Not everybody can explode on the scene like Peter Sagan, and even he has been useless in 250km+ races.

Of course, great win for the kid. Relax dude, I know anything connected to Belgians and Belgian teams is close to your heart...

It's not that, but you sounded a little bit like Waterloo Sunrise every time Boonen wins a sprint ;)

I'll say the same about Wilco Kelderman when he wins his first pro race, I promise :p

well these should be the final days of bennati as a sprinter.now he's just a gavazzi-like rider.

It's just the beginning of the season, these results doesnt mean anything. Bennati is still one of the top sprinters, especially in harder terrain.

Top sprinters:

Cavendish
Greipel
Farrar

Subtop sprinters:

JJ Haedo
Marcel Kittel(for now)
Boonen
Sagan(faster than Bennati on flat sprints)
Galimzyanov
Guardini
Viviani
Bennati

In no particular order of course.

I'm not Dekker_T... plus Wilco has already won his first pro race. He just wasn't pro yet ;)

You mean only on harder terrain. When Theo Bos led him out for 300 meters in Oman last year and he still couldn't win, that was just ridiculous.

yep him and baden cooke lol.no chance in the classics neither just for the usual top tens

Better chance than winning flat sprints in GTs these days... I mean, Sagan was faster than him in Madrid. He has to re-invent him self as a cyclist in my opinion, and that's why he should focus on classics and sprints in lesser races or on selective stages in GTs.

Gratz for him then! :D

Well, another one will follow this year then barring injuries, crashes and illness.

Interestingly, when Andy Fenn won the Junior Roubaix, Peter Sagan was second.

You see, this is the problem with Dutch riders. They can't seem to pass 1 race without injuries, crashes or illness.
Ofcourse that won't keep me from hoping they will. but....

Seems like Evans was dropped/ had a mechanical/crash as finished 1:43 down
Mathews came 16th so evidently he was supposed to go for the sprint as well but go too tired as bos came 40th

Breschel finished 7th and is also Rabo. Did you forget? So it's clear they went for Breschel this time
