How is that a surprise? Nibs by far the best descender in the front group. He couldn't make the gap uphill, Nibs style to try downhill as a section option.
Pretty international national competition.portugal11 said:this * race is not a monument. so weak competition, lombardia at these days, looks more like the nationals

Yes, I'd rather watch 20 men sprinting to the line in Paris-Roubaix.portugal11 said:this * race is not a monument. so weak competition, lombardia at these days, looks more like the nationals

It's the UCI announcer. Also comments for their YT channel.
Why? Dunno.

Totally agree. With amatours the likes of Valverde, Kwiatowski, Gilbert... such a weak field.

Yep, for sure. I think he dropped a chain. You could see him looking down when he dropped off the group. Not pedalling and nearly stopped.

That was my first thought - Cost Chavez a podium.
pinot is just a good climber... he hasn't technique, no killer instinct. he will never make a top 3 in a gt (unless top favourites fall), in liege, he will not ever make a top5Tonton said:portugal11 said:pinot in third... this tell you everything
Can you elaborate?
Pinot did a great race, hopefully he'll get a little bit more respect on this forum. He lacked the juice in the final 5K, but at least he tried. He attacked, responded to attacks, he was very strong. Hats off to Nibbles. Great win for him.
Lol I went there before the race. Lombardia and Benfica have my hands full for the afternoonBigMac said:Ok, now going to vote for legislative elections. Expecting the second heartbreak of the day.
