Something slightly meh when a rider wins a parcours clearly designed for him to win on.

THIS is why I like Alaphilippe. He never gives up, always try to do at least something :)
He should become smarter in the way he races, but he's a great champion. Great Nibali! Strong Alaphilippe and Moscon!

Geez Moscon, you're really trying to get the French angry at you aren't you? Better not go to the Tour next year...
Didn't exactly see what happened, but I think he did block Pozzovivo's (?) line.
Edit: oh it was Vuillermoz

What a dominant performance by Nibali. Way more dominant than in 2015 when he basically only won because of his descending skills, but today he was the clearly strongest rider uphill as well

That ascent of San Fermo was pretty epic, he simply just crushed the rest of the field. Wow.

But there is no problem when Valverde wins on the parcours designed for him to win?
Bit of a non-sequitur there.

Looked like what happens normally in any sprint ever. Surely it seems like nobody in the peloton can stand him ^^

Man  ...

Nibali was the strongest. Hats off. I'm disappointed (understatement of the year). Brave Tibopino...nothing to show for.

But it's Moscon, so people on the forum go crazy about it.

Disappointing for Pinot, he animated the race and certainly didn't leave anything on the road. I think though he'll still have to work on his descending a bit more to break his one day race curse. He wasted way too much energy trying to limit the gap to Nibali on the downhill.

Yeah, the way the road went up the hill, and then down again afterwards, and then up another hill and down again, and then up another hill and, wait for it, DOWN AGAIN, was so obviously set up for him and no other rider ever had a chance.
