Sky was a different sort of boring tbf. Strangle a race with train riding and then have 5 guys in a group of 10 in the last 5k.

At least we could pretend the race was interesting I guess, which can't even do that now. We also still had the classics back then whereas this year had been Pog or VDP stomping on anyone
But in the Sky years the Giro and Vuleta were exciting during that period. It was only the TDF they dominated, even when Sky finally won the Giro in 2018 was very exciting.

Well, Remco should keep pushing, who knows Pog will have a mechanical.
And besides this not being something anyone wishes for, that's about the only way this race can still be anywhere near exciting, I fear.

The Sky era of GC riding was so boring when they strangled the race.. The only saving grace was that when they had a comfortable GC lead, they, then let the break to win the stage.

Remco dropped them, they didn't let him go. Good move by Remco, they were not helping anyway (and only slowing him down if they did).

It was on a straight part. Mas just let go and looked at LVE who was busy with his bidon. When he reacted it was way too late. Remco is riding a good descent, but that wasn't normal "dropping"
