What do you mean? I think Curvers still has a WT contract next year and there are plenty of riders born in the 70's still racing on lower levels

Oh, didn't notice him. Then, Roy Curvers is the last man stading on a WT level.

The world champion will be the fourth oldest rider on the WorldTour next year. Only surpassed by Curvers, Bak and Irizar.

I was trying to make a point that such a hard race after a long season is taking "casualties". Only the hardiest strongmen survive.
