Also you would expect Armstrong to have signed up all employees with a confidentiality clause with a high liquidated damages component. That serves as strong duct tape over the mouth.

If not for Lance, would we even be thinking of cancer right now? Probably not. Would we be thinking of Malaria or Bromidrosis instead? I can not speak for you, but probably not.

Agree these are trivial examples. The more Profound Awareness in revealed in the inspiration of the researchers and patients.

If there's going to be any disruption of Livestrong, it is going to come from the deflation of the Armstrong brand/myth via negative publicity (or some legal attack from outside). It doesn't (at this time) look like any employees are ready to revolt against the man-myth. Whether loyalty to Livestrong is motivated by love, fear, greed, or a nondisclosure agreement, it does appear that the loyalty lives strong.

A bit superficial to suggest a coorelation between salary and being dissatisfied. Especially for super performers - salary is not as important as many other more important things. And there are many low paid employees everywhere that are very satisfied too.

But there IS a coorelation between super performance and pay. Dream Teams end up being expensive money wise. But well worth it. The fact that LiveStrong is chocked full of super performers should not be a suprise. To be expected actually. Great Foundation. Great Folks. Volunteers on up.

Aaw, 'cmon. Kudos to LA for involvement in cancer awareness. But there are plenty others. Here's one report 2 months old. He's not the only one. Just guys like Mark Davis are working quietly, not in the spotlight. (BTW, the treatment reported in the video is at stage II of the FDA certification process)

If you add up the totals above and subtract these 12 people from the 88 total employees you can devise the remaining avg. salary per person - by using the total wage bill in the financials.

If my math serves me correct it works out to $34,000 per person!

Looks like there are some people getting totally ripped off working down there in Austin!

Next days will be busy with the Youth Olympics now that Austria has a super abundance of snow ! Had to laugh about 150 skiers being stuck on the mountain today because they could not ski !

Amazing technologies being used.
When Lance co-started Livestrong 15 years ago, he was naive as to what it would take to cure cancer. Now Lance realizes he is just a small part of the solution I would think. But great strides HAVE been made in those 15 years as your link points out. More cancer survivors today than ever before in history.

I think that the negative Lance publicity is hitting the Foundation much harder than the negative Foundation publicity. The attacks on Lance's personal trustworthiness are the real killer.
