I don't even understand your argument after your baseless personal attack. Stay classy, friend.

Oh, then please accept my deepest apologize Mr. Doc PhD

I did not believe you at first, but seeing as how you have a PhD...

You must be right, I am terribly sorry I ever doubted you Sir... :(

Could you please predict the winners of all 2015-2019 Grand Tours too? Must be a piece of cake for someone with a PhD like yourself. :)

Come on don't mock him :( He does have a point

If they are all targeting the Giro, Rigo will take the Tour :p

But kind of funny. For years everone was looking at le Tour as the GT with the most contenders and therefore the hardest of the year. This year it was the Vuelta and maybe 2015 it will be the Giro...

Angelo Zomegnan

His routes were great. He overdid it sometimes like in 2011, but overall great mountain stages and hilly/ medium mountain stages under his reign.

Then we basically agree  (Saddo that I am, I actually did a quick and dirty back of a *** packet correlation - absolutely no significance. Might as well use the breakfast cereal he ate that morning as a predictor. Waaaaaay too small a sample to derive any kind of model out of that.)

Roll on Lombardia before I'm resorting to peering over excel spreadsheets of power data to get my AC fix.. LOL!

PSSST - Anyone know where I might be able to get a life…?

(Wow, this forum automatically removes the word 'f ag'…as in 'cigarette'. Just wow)

Ah, this reminds of a late night online poker session with some Americans. I excused myself from the table to 'go out for a ***'. Eyebrows were raised until I explained myself on return to the table that it was just a cig break;)

Before we get too fixated on the "2013 was crap" meme - let's remember he came in "only" 4th in the Tour, 6:27 behind. And didn't he crash once or twice in it also and didn't fully recover during the race? Yes, he could not keep up with Froome, Quintana or Rodriquez and edged Rom Kreuziger by only a minute. Yes, it was a bad year for him with just about no wins. But 4th in Tour? And still 3rd at the second rest day? That's only a mammoth embarrassing failure for him--not for pretty much anyone else. I just get the feeling we're all acting like he came in 50th or something.

Then there is the "he's on the downhill part of his career" meme. Well, maybe, but Nibali is just 2 years younger, and Froome is just 3 years younger. Why do we act like those guys are a totally different generation? Quintana at 8 years younger, that's a different story.
