Taking HGH like it was going out of fashion? Nooooo, couldn't be, not our clean Cuddles! Oh wait, he's a professional cyclist, you're probably very very right.

What came first, the hGH or the big head?

Also don't forget "recovery therapy" doesn't count!

That sounds a bit like David "I don't even use recovery therapy" Millar !

It would be interesting if everybody posted the name of one rider that's better than Evens. No repeating names please.

Boonen.

Define 'generation' first.

A suggestion ... riding on a pro team since 1990? Or 2000? You can't really go any later than that as it's not a complete generation.

It has to be Big Mig in the first scenario, in the second, who knows. All the good riders are tainted so have to be ruled out, Boonen is over rated, cancellara can't compete in GT's, ditto Freire, Bettini et al.

What is "our" generation? How far back does it stretch? How much evidence is there needed to "discredit" somebody? Is Cancellara "discredited"? Nibali? Boonen? Hushovd? Sastre? Menchov even?

Is Contador discredited??? ;) What is to be discredited?? Is the whole pro cycling circus discredited??

Interesting question. So we scrub anyone who has taken a ban and shift everyone else up? So Giro 2010 we can move up 2 for scarponi and basso, 2009 2nd vuelta for valverde, 2008 2 in tdf, 2007 1st in the tdf for contador, 4th in vuelta, 2006 4th but my all time favourite 2005 1st (1999 retro testing) for Basso, Ullrich (retired instead), Mancebo, vinokourov, leipheimer (junior days), rasmussen (where abouts). I know it's a bit of a stretch but its a funny reflection on the sport.

By CQ rankings and ignoring results of anyone with a positive Cadel is hands down best rider of the last 4 years, though I just can't reconcile that with greatest rider of our generation.
Cycling quotient rankings
2010 Rank 5 take out contador 4th.
2009 Rank 3 behind contador and valverde
2008 Rank 3 behind same 2
2007 Rank 1

Then there is still the issue of being clean.

Seriously what is the biggest race that Evans has won? In this we can give him maybe the 2007 TDF, the worlds, what is his next biggest win?

sastre has generally been better in GTs.
cavendish, freire, boonen, cancellara, hushovd all much better overall.

Cuddles is good. But i think certain Australian people are overestimating him. And our "generation" (00s) i would say Ullrich, Vino and Bettini is better than him. Unless you started watching cycling in 07.

Folks, we might be rather missing the point of the (=ACF's) OP. It's in the Clinic and surely a proxy for "is Cuddles the only non-doper of his generation?". Just saying...;)

What is 'our generation'? A guy like Bettini (obviously a superior palmares) is only three years older that Cuddles, should he count?

Anyway, even looking at active riders, Gilbert, Boonen, Menchov, Cancellara, Cunego, Freire and Sastre are all better. Samuel Sanchez and Cavendish can be argued as well. Schleck and Nibali are one good season away from beating Evans. Cuddles is maybe in the top-10 of best (non-compromised) riders of this generation, but certainly not the best.
I would not say best of our generation but best all round rider I would consider him to be right up there.

Ah, do you have his book Ferminal or sasquatch? Look at the first set of photos of his dad and him being a young kid. His dad has a big jawline and as a kid he has a massive jawline. hgh theory with the big jawline is ********!

I won't bother with this thread which people only post on here to try and **** me off. Well, guess what! You win!

Hey, we're not posting to **** you off. We are posting logic in a topic which is posted under the clinic. It's general conversation.

Does Cadel dope? Yes
How do you know? Speak to people who rode against him in the MTB era.

You cant serriously think that Evans is more clean than Ulle and Vino....

What fkn planet are you from? Vino served a two year ban for blood doping and Ullrich has been busy dodging court orders and investigations for blood doping for the last four years. How many has Cadel been involved in?

Not exactly the cleanest of winners those years were they? And I guess that's the underlying reason behind the topic.

Remove the dopers and things change.

Under that scenario, Cuddles isn't there either. Or maybe you believe he is the one rider not transfusing? Hey, I hate to tell you this, but there is no Santa Clause either.

Obviously, you are from the planet of which you speak. Tell you what, text Cuddles and ask him if he wants his blood tested for plasticizers...

Agreed re the Cuddles' LLS jawline being hereditary. But he has changed body shape a fair bid from when he was a whippet in pink at the Giro for Mapei. Bit suss for mine.
