Contador linked to a doping doctor, just like Sky?

Ooh all the sky fans think that is not proof!!!!

it's part of the proof. the other is the rider being spanish or italian.

Don't know what to say. Walsh believes Contador is clean.

"@DavidWalshST: Today in the Voseges promised a good race, a great one unfolded. Despite what we've been through, I look at Contador now and I believe."

Perhaps he wants to write a book about the disgraced cycling champion Contador and how Sky marginal gains helped him and made him see the light and realize doping is not the way forward.

Wonder what he'll say after Hautacam. But this is funny. Even he abandonded Froome?

Early onset of alzeihemer's for Walsh. Forgotten who owns Team Tinkhoff, who manages, who rides for............

Walsh is amazing. He just looks at riders and knows.

Walsh making no comment about Menchov also tells me whose side he has chosen to sit on and it is not the side of clean cycling.

Has anyone else commented on Menchov yet ... ?
check e.g. kimmage's twitter account.
it's not so much about menchov as it is about uci's complete lack of transparency.
more transparency was cookson's major promise.

Walsh has a piece in today's ST about Froome dropping out of the Tour and about Porte taking over as team leader. It seems he spoke to everyone involved with Sky *except* for Froome. Further evidence of a lover's spat between the 2?

He seems to hint that Froome isn't far off being persona non grata with the other Sky riders anyway (over his book and the kimmage interview) and that few tears have been shed for the poor fella.

"He seems to hint" means that "i want to believe that this is the truth" :D

Post excerpts or spare me of "He seems to hint"

no problem my sky loving friend

The day after Froome departed, Brailsford was surprisingly upbeat.
..
snip
..
But there seemed little regret. His relationship with Froome has not had the warmth Brailsford used to enjoy with Bradley Wiggins. This season, not everything has been smooth. The team boss did not like some of the things Froome wrote in his book and the team did not agree with the rider's decision to do an interview with journalist Paul Kimmage, who has been critical of them.

you are quite right though, 'hint' was the incorrect word to use. Its pretty unambiguous really.

Not really a lovers spat. Its just that Walsh arent intrested in Froome now when he is out in the cold. Guess who he is intrested in? His tweet about Contador yesterday makes perfect sense. He cant really in a state of disappointment (as per Froomes DNF) state that he is doped (as he did) until he realised Porte was in with a shot. Better safe then sorry.

Walsh has new plans with Porte. It might require a clean Contador.

Well clearly a 1.5km cat 3 is the one to tell us whether a rider looks clean or not...

clueless doesn't even come near.

Walsh knows. Walsh has spoken.

Walsh attended a Richie Porte press conference today and stated that Dave Brailsford questioned why there were no doping questions. Sky again trying to portray themselves as the ethical knights of the peloton and Walsh happy to be their mouthpiece.

He later goes on to tweet that ''the questioning of Froome also reflected anti-Sky, anti-Murdoch, anti-English and anti-too much success bias''

The mind boggles.

Why would not questioning Porte be anti-Sky?

Walsh is going to end up with a knighthood if he keeps this up

I'm not sure its to do with not questioning Porte. He implied that the questioning of Sky & Froome in 2013 in comparision to Astana and Saxo (with Vino & Riis) this year is proof of an anti-Sky, anti-Murdoch and anti-English agenda.

It suits Walsh/Sky (they are effectively now one and the same) to peddle this agenda as it helps create a perception that the reason for all the questioning is caused moreso by xenophobic, racist undertones rather than the dramatic transformation of mediocre grand tour riders into supreme champions.

I suppose we should for some reason be eternally grateful for Walsh's heroic efforts against Lance and ignore his many hypocritical and downright idiotic remarks. Lest we push the anti-Walsh agenda, remember, criticizing Walsh is the same as supporting Lance!
