I love the irony. Complain about being black-listed by LA, then block people who question/criticise you...

Slight difference between blacklisting journos and blocking abusibe ppl on twitter though

Dont really get why people complain about being blocked on twitter

Be abusive / constantly accuse someone on twitter

They block you

Complain about being blocked

Just shows how stupid these people who get blocked often are

EDIT : I always think when someone complains about being blocked, what a tosser

Do you have any evidence that Walsh only blocks abusive people? Maybe you should get some before you make accusations.

Generally from the people complaining I have a good idea:D

I wasn't abusive to him. I called him out over his bullsh1t article where he accused Irish people on alpe d'huez of causing trouble during the 2013 TdeF. Which was a complete fabrication (as evidenced by his later (albeit weak) apology)

I sent him a tweet when he mentioned Huatacam - I have no idea if he blocked me or not. Extraordinary performances = extraordinary belief etc.

Though I elaborated more than a tweet on the Sunday Times website as I'm on a half price deal on their paywall till September, adding it felt like Ventoux last year. I live in the UK so am very aware of the libel laws with specifics lol.

Martyn Parker ‏@MartynParker28 34m

@DavidWalshST can we trust that the current race leader is racing clean?

David Walsh ‏@DavidWalshST

@MartynParker28 Martyn, we can hope and even pray. I thought he struggled today, which offers some encouragement.

This is some gold from Walsh.

I think it was long established that Walsh sold his soul for Sky.

Too much money to be made by Walsh keeping his job at ST and possible future Sky books. Why he didn't see the golden future on the Lance Wagon but does with Sky will be interesting to hear in the future?

The Times might have him doing another q&a session with the times subscribers soon, think a member from the clinic will be very tempted to hop on the train and go along. He seems to have switched his sports away from cycling more often now, don't know if that's his decision or not. I wouldn't blame him to take a sabbatical after 12 years of aggravation either.

And I definitely am not going to slag him off for keeping his own council for worst case his job and financial security for his family. He's still got a massive amount of credit left in my book and is nowhere near into dropping remotely near a negative balance.

If I ever got to answer him pointed questions about this current topic I would certainly offer my wholehearted thanks for what he's done to the sport beforehand. He deserves it.

Walsh was never anti doping, he was anti Lance. The only reason he went after Lance was to boost his own ego/wallet and because he hated the guy.

Now he has jumped on the sky train for the same reasons. He is in love.

And do you really think the times are gonna publish any real questions? It will just be a bunch of "hi david, really loved seven deadly sins, my favourite book"

Walsh was anti Armstrong, but he went after Roche, Smith De Bruin, Contador, Rasmussen and others.

When TeamSky came knocking the choice appeared to be, get with the 'program' or look for a new job.......

Never? I've got a distillation of every article he and Kimmage did for the times in chronological order in a PDF, a pm with an email you can read them all yourself. He went after lance because he's a journo - suspected what he saw in 1999 and carried on like a dog with a bone with the story for 12 years. Had threats to sue him and bankrupt him personally in the uk court, was called himself a liar, troll and the worst journalist there is. Brought comments about his dead son into quotes, something that frankly if it was said to me in his situation the person would be ringing up his dentist soon afterwards.

I've been to q&a's there before - there is an open session of questions which is recorded and if you wish you get the chance for a little bit of cordial discussions in small groups with drinks after. Here's hoping he does another one cos I will be there and will certainly not be pulling my words after offering my grateful thanks for what he's done. Diplomacy and tact are not my strong points lol.

The only real bug bear I have with Walsh is he hasn't published the proper English version of LA confidential instead of the terrible, then barely passable translations from French I've read!

From reading Dave Walshes tweets it seems no matter what Froome or Sky do on races he never ever sees anything wrong. It would take Froome passing out the lead cars and the publicity caravan to stir anything in his rose tinted Murdock funded glasses.

The only thing that irked him was the TUE before Froome destroyed the peleton and even that was pretty tame.

Do ask him about his comically absurd double standard regarding Sky when you get the chance.

I will try my best - but my own thoughts about Sky and Rupert Murdoch in particular posted on an Internet forum could quite easily get a writ for libel through my letterbox. All I will say is a story published by one of his other 'papers' caused one of my dear friends to commit suicide leaving a wife and two beautiful kids.

A sky fan I am most certainly not. But I believe in the case of that team I don't believe the team is in on the doping - it's the riders themselves who self dope. Allegedly of course as I'm a Londoner unlike others on here...

Reading comments on David Walsh's latest piece of ghost-writing - the Kevin Pietersen autobiography - one wonders if Walsh will have seen any similarities in the manner in which the England & Wales cricket board mishandled the Pietersen problem and the way Dave Brailsford has chosen to not handle the Froome/Wiggins one.

The Froome/Wiggins one is powder puff in comparison to Pietersen with Flower, Swann, Prior, Cook and Strauss. Looking at the dossier today, Pietetsen has the image of guy who was a law on to himself. A sense of entitlement. Unmanageable as long as he was still involved in the England set up. All this while he has his mouthpiece Piers Morgan doing his dirty work for him, feeding him snippets along the way.

Walsh doing the books is due to Paul Newman who did his first book and has been highly critical of him the last year. I heard the book is more of a getting even one than an autobiography itself. For instance, a whole chapter is dedicated to Prior.

True, Froome/Wiggins looks like a minor argument over the last piece of pizza compared to the English cricket team.

I would disagree on KP though. I think all parties in that mess are responsible. The accusations in the leaked dossier are pretty weak.

My favourite bit of the 'dossier' is where it mentions, seemingly without comment, that Andrew Flower (the coach) didn't speak to KP for the entire of the final test match (which for non-cricket lovers is 5 days long), but then goes onto point out that KP whistled 'casually' after he got out. . .

fark stuart broad and swan.

KP actually is a genius. Like Boris dePfeffel Johnson. another English genius. There are so few, one must recognise them for their innate talents. The other 11 cricket team can get fukced for all i care.

KP ftw.

Just ask Rod Marsh and Shane Warne. They know who has the talent. And they both say he is the most talented they have come across.
