Why bring up Giulio and say why no one bumping that thread in the middle of this discussion? What did that have do with anything? That was just very revealing on intentions.

I think it is evident what you are doing and wishing what happens in the next few days. You got your post ready for that, if that actually happens.

That doesnt mean today was a mistake or Del Toro shouldnt have tried to take seconds here. It was a good move.

Now the race goes on.

But this was some next level type of narrative. Im surprised, but not surprised.

No, you said why no one bumping his thread and trying to slight the performance today of Del Toro. That it was somehow a dumb move to try to gain time and hope he will drop later to point to this ride as the reason why.

Then no rider should ever try to race.

You know I like you Abi my friend but me and you need to have an intervention soon we cant have you of all ppl blaming cycling is dead which is the go to cope move when ones fav rider get molested by others even if the signs are blinking, we just saw that happen to some Remco fans after Del Toro was done with him.

Wait whos saying Del Toro rode stupid today? He couldnt have ridden better. He closed the gap to MvdP after being left behind due to the Jorgenson incident, rode for GC with simon gerrans x2 on the wheel and still almost beat mvdp.

Are you criticising a rider for just riding his bike? And will use this stage as a reason to later criticise if he ends up not winning the race for some strange reason?

I actually already explained that. That is if del Toro is next Pogi, then he has not much to worry about. If he isn't, then he will likely pay the price for this effort deeper into the race. I feel that that is reasonable assessment but then i guess some didn't like to read that, or something. As i guess obviously he is next Pogi and as long as he races like him all is good.

Red Bull still not allowing their best rider to race for himsel on home soil out of respect for Roglic his former glory days.

Any rider who tries to gain time and attacks... is now Pog? Even when they are behind in GC and has to try something? And if they dont win, they will be scrutinized for even trying?
