IMHO he worked too much today and he will pay the price later on. Plus he didn't win the stage. He gained time on some of the GC competitors, that is a plus. I agree with that.
This is totally ridiculous. These takes that going for an intermediate sprint or a 3 minute effort is gonna detonate the rest of the week.
I guess that's what happened to Remco at UAE though riding a 68t in the TT. Or was it just typical Remco excuses
Del Toro should save energy? Sure, like at the Giro i guess????

No, he's not ready to take on pogi or Jonas. He's a free leader in all races where Pogi and Almeida don't race.
Facts are Del Toro is leading many races and is a great rider.

Sometimes the best riders on a team will ride some races together. It could give the team a big advantage vs other teams and great riders. It is not very strange.

It is worse when the so-called leader for a team is worse than his younger teammates that are rising up. Then one is just standing in their way, rather than mentoring.

Quite the opposite situation here as of now in their dynamic. They seem to get on very well.
