Free Isaac.
No, he's not ready to take on pogi or Jonas. He's a free leader in all races where Pogi and Almeida don't race.@Unchained
If Isaac can keep the leaders jersey tomorrow then he is ready to take on Pogi, otherwise back to the duties for now.
@Krzysztof_O
Freedom maybe, not free.
I think he is also for sure a co-leader when he starts with Almeida.No, he's not ready to take on pogi or Jonas. He's a free leader in all races where Pogi and Almeida don't race.
Facts are Del Toro is leading many races and is a great rider.No, he's not ready to take on pogi or Jonas. He's a free leader in all races where Pogi and Almeida don't race.
Purito was a better climber than Valverde.More oversized Purito than Valverde for me
He was for a total of 2 seasons.Purito was a better climber than Valverde.
And he's been *** in races over 200km, something where Rodriguez and Valverde both excelled. There's simply no perfect comparisons.Del Toro is a way more complete rider than Purito. Purito was exceptional at some things but very weak in other areas.
Del Toro is a way better time trialist, is capable of pacing himself very well. He might have a weakness in the high mountains, but i am not even sure that that weakness will hold on the mid to long term.
I still think it is a huge exaggaration to call him *** in over 200K races. 5th in Lombardy and 7th in WC obviously isnt as good as he has been in shorter races, but it is far from *** given he was only 21 during those races.And he's been *** in races over 200km, something where Rodriguez and Valverde both excelled. There's simply no perfect comparisons.
Or I could just roll with Del Toro is the new Ulissi because profile wise it fits even better.
Del Toro vs Seixas vs Ayuso should be an entertaining fight.He wins TA in a dominant fashion. Let's see Pais Vasco against a stronger field.

It took Purito until 2006 to top 20 a monument.And he's been *** in races over 200km, something where Rodriguez and Valverde both excelled. There's simply no perfect comparisons.

Riders don't develop at the same rate.It took Purito until 2006 to top 20 a monument.
I don’t think that was the point—I assumed the discussion was “which rider does he remind you of” not who was/will be the better rider.Del Toro is a way more complete rider than Purito. Purito was exceptional at some things but very weak in other areas.

A lot to look forward to!Del Toro vs Seixas vs Ayuso should be an entertaining fight.
