Not only winner deserve love, maybe all your favourites are prolific winners so you can't understand it, but it's not the same to everyone. In Landa's case I think his lack of winning even contributes greatly in making him an endearing rider to many.
Most of the riders I cheer for never win.
I'm also a Sacramento Kings fan. And an Arizona Cardinals fan.
So yeah it's probably my fault.

Vingegaard tends to spend more time looking back than forward. He must have been told it's an aerodynamic position.
it's getting copied already!

I really can't understand all the Landa love. Very RARELY does he ever actually win! In 2017 he won Burgos then Nothing until 2021 when he won Burgos again without winning a stage. Zero since. Not exactly an overwhelming palmares. Yet people are always fawning over him. SMH in wonder.
Love is not about wins,it's about feelings!!!

So what's this skullduggery I'm seeing on PCS about an altered stage 5 finale today?

The finale of today's stage has been slightly altered. Our profile will be updated soon.

Fun little statistics from PCS:

This there, there is one rider in the race, who's also on the startlist for P-R.
In both 2021 and 2022 it was six riders. Well, I guess it was easier to do the Basque + P-R double those years...

Hey, the Kings are legit. Who knows if they will win the Western Conference, I could see it happening, and if youre in the final...

Very true ). I'm just surprised there are so many lovers! I've certainly rooted for guys that weren't/aren't prolific winners Uran for one. But the masses never joined me LOL.

And Rackham had liked the post in which it was first mentioned in this thread. Shades of Toby here.

Tough crowd.

I merely glanced at the update on PCS's live feed earlier today & wondered what was happening. Personally I'd hoped for the addition of... I don't know? Perhaps the Angliru? But hey-ho, it is what it is.

it's actually not a bad move from Quickstep, I think. They have two strong guys in front, and Schmid gets a free ride in the bunch.
After Dennis crashed out yesterday, Jumbo is so weak here they even have a chance to make it. And if it was the normal Arrate stage tomorrow, they could gift the leader's jersey for a day, but that would be dangerous here.
