Remco with a collarbone fracture should also still have enough time for the tour... Vingegaard will be out I fear..Not to be an idiot but TdF gonna be Pog Rog. I think Rog is ok, even if he's on adrenaline (he is) he moved his shoulders etc. Might be broken ribs.
It's a bit of both. The crash is very much rider error because the curve is completely unremarkable in terms of technicality. The consequences of said crash are very much because of what was next to said curve, and the organisers evidently not having thought about it looks foolish in retrospect.Crash just looks like rider error to me
Probably the latter for the amount of times he has crashed. Insane if there’s no major injuries after yesterday and today.Dude is really lucky or he really mastered how to fall.
Poor guy always crashing. He was hurt a lot.
Peloton going faster and faster and faster until...Crash just looks like rider error to me
Dude is really lucky or he really mastered how to fall.
were there images of Vine ? Was he moving ? (
ski jumping might help that (couldn't help myself)Dude is really lucky or he really mastered how to fall.
Remco looked like ribs to me too. He was holding his arm in 90 degrees because he was pushing his ribs and having difficulty breathing.Looked like Remco was holding his ribs
hoping it is only bruised ribs for him, not broken
his Ardennes campaign is likely gone, however
There must have been something tricky in that section because Burgaudeau also went off-roading in the exact same spot out of the break. Not possible to make 157km safe. This was just bad luck, didnt look like a dangerous part of the route.
the break always tends to lose half of its lead at restarts as the peloton just starts whenever they like.So now the break just wins.
It’s happened many times. Just look at 2014- nobody discounts Nibal’s win because Froome and Bertie crashed out. Roche and Delgado won in 1987-88 despite both LeMond and Fignon being injured or just way off their game due to illness/gatigue/tapeworm or whatever the hell caused Fignon to not be near his best.True, but these years where too many races lack suspense because of a few very dominant riders, it’s a disaster when several top 10 riders are suddenly out.
I dont care about your thoughts u could say what u want but life is at stake here 😖I can consider different things, no need to dictate what I'm allowed to write. I have written plenty about the crash already.
