This might be the worst WT "sprint stage" top 10 I've ever seen, not gonna lie. Louis Vervaeke got 3rd. Ok bit uphill in the end, but still.

Huh. To me it seemed far more interesting than most. I like seeing a very different set of riders than usual. Splits, tough corners, a major slide-out with no major injury...I liked it.

Riding today at the French basque country, they were very motivated...I didnt know that man, but came to win Classic Loire Atlantique, so, of course he is very good at this hilly races.

He won Il Piccolo Lombardia in 2021.

He had some minor results here and there in 2022-2023, but now having a bit of a breakthrough so far this season. 3rd win here.
