The real magic will happen during the final ITT, I have no doubts.Ridiculous as all get out but hopefully we have a race for the whole 3 weeks between the top 2.

Following Pogos thermonuclear attack just like that off the couch. Something's rotten in the state of Denmark
I think we'll see a repeat of the last two years despite Vingegaard's accident. He'll follow Pogacar until we reach the third week, then he'll bury him on stages 19, 20, and 21. Pogacar will be the most spectacular and flashy of the two, but Vingegaard will have superior w/kg numbers. If this is the plan B version of him, imagine if he hadn't had the accident ...No words!! He is a different beast in July! Next time, he will break a leg before and will win the Tour
A marginal gain from the Visma Control Room?Miracle!
Jonas has become very good at the PR, this comeback is building up to be a great storyline already. Wait until he begins dedicating his victory to his sick pet goldfish back in Denmark. That’ll tug at the heartstrings."I'm surprised by my own strength. Hadn't expected to be this good".
Vingegaard overrasket over sin egen styrke
Jonas Vingegaard havde ikke forventet at være så god, som han var på 2. etape af Tour de France.www.dr.dk
And that Pogacar made a mistake by doing the Giro. He'd been better off recovering from serious injuries like Vingegaard ...The narrative is going to be JV's amazing comeback means he's even greater than we thought
"I thought my computer was broken""I'm surprised by my own strength. Hadn't expected to be this good".

This time i think the real magic will happen on Cime de la Bonette. The real magic will happen during the final ITT, I have no doubts.
"I thought my watt-meter broke. Had never seen those numbers before"-vibes."I'm surprised by my own strength. Hadn't expected to be this good".

I don't think it's not a deliberate wish for more variation, but more competition from hosting locations for a slot.I think it's unrelated. A wish for more varied and novel uphill finishes, and maybe also to do with fan behaviour.

They will finish together, I highly doubt Pog can drop Jonas.I'm curious what the two mutants will do on the Galibier.
