Jonas Vingegaard: Something is Rotten

Page 52 - Get up to date with the latest news, scores & standings from the Cycling News Community.
Dutch tv now has Stef Clement explain that Vinegaard eats less fibre, which means he has 500g less *** in his gut, which makes him lighter, and also helps keep his tummy flat, which makes him more aero.

WUT you can't make this *** up. Good thing that Dumoulin is on the Belgian tv.

Wait, I can't even explain it because it gets censored. We are talking about poo, dung, feces, excrement.

Ahh thank you John Larsen, thank you for reminding me that cycling is now clean.
"Il'l say to the people who don't believe, the cynics and the sceptics: I'm sorry for you. I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles."

Tbh, this guy seems less obnoxious compared to American and British folks back in the day, maybe there are not that many Danish people out there defending Vingegaard at all costs

Also, it seems like people are actually believing Jonas cut fish for a living out of necessity. It wasn't though, here from his former DS;

"- It was about us giving Jonas some structure in his everyday life. If he had nothing else to do, it could well be 12-13 before he came out to train. By getting him a job, we were able to put the training and time into a different perspective, and that was important for Jonas's maturation as a person, says Christian Andersen."

It was just to get him off the couch ;-). Valgren had the same job before Vingo.
Thanks for giving me more evidence that this guy is neurodiverse!

But that in itself also means he will be better than others if cycling is the only thing he does. That's the upside to neurodiversity! The thing we really like we'll simply become masters at. That's the biology/neurology of the neurodiverse brain.

(With that said of course he's nowhere near clean), but he doesn't come from nowhere and neurodiversity probably factors in. (Remco is possibly another example)

Don't worry people, he went too far today, and next year someone else will get full clearence to the juice by doping authorities, not him. I bet in one of the spanish or british youngsters too crush Vingo in 2024. Most important now is: don't crush the business that reached new highs.
Idk, doping fueled dominance tends to be sticky. Indurain - 5 years, Armstrong - 7 years, Sky - 7 years.

Sick of these Danes already tbh, we've no Duke of Sussex anymore and the Duke of York is a nonce, we are completely vulnerable on our eastern coastline and they will start getting ideas if this carries on.

Onley and Poole need to get on that gene doping/cherry juice sh*t and putting out some big numbers otherwise we are about to see Longships looming over on the horizon.
Without Brexit it would have been a bit safer :joycat: :joycat: :joycat:

Long time no see Clinic.
I wasn't following as closely the Tour in the last handful of years and honestly I've grown a little numb over the tragedy of doping in general.
This year I didn't get to watch stages but I was interested, Vingo and Pog being so close at least made for an exciting story.

I suppose I don't have much to add or say than the same incredulity as everyone. Pog's lead is already... spectacular but Vingo burying him by the same gap is... what ?
I'm not gonna get mad and throw speculation about what exactly is happening here without evidence (that we have a good chance of never really getting) but I wanted to write about it and leave a trace, no matter how trite.
Everybody wants to see Superman beat Batman or vice versa.
That is why this is all allowed.. if it was to chaotic and even, then people would lose interest.. Nothing fun in seeing shifting riders drop each day.

That being said, I am sure the French are mad about them not having a Batman.

3 Danes in top 9 and with Asgrren as number 4 around number 15. Such a little country with those big engines. They are already in their boats and will surely arrive faster than in the Viking times.

It's motivation. Remember to go out training or you can be at the fish factory for the rest of your life :fearscream:

Dumoulin said it was the best TT he’s ever seen. But then he came up with the downhill technique and lighter bike. When Pogi won he couldn’t believe that it was possible, but now with his Jumbo mates doing something even a level above it’s normal.

I've seen talk that French riders do perform pretty well on UCI points overall (though possibly slowly declining) but it's been a long struggle to get a multi-stage contender -as everyone know-.

I'm sure the French public would be hypocritical enough if that happens in the same sort of fashion but I have the weakness to believe it would raise a few eyebrows to get a new Jalabert.

I guess the crocodile swam so i'm also going to ride the tiger from this day on.

Don't wonder anymore why 2022 3rd week TT was Vingo's to give. They (jumbo) knew he would smoke Wouts and Gannas and Pogis of this world any day he tried.

I do remember his big pull in 2020 Angliru and 2021 Chris Harper moment, but leap to this is some Space Jam alien stuff.

Are the pundits defending dopers actually delusional enough to believe they’re clean or are they being paid off? A performance like this is so obviously glowing it’s embarrassing to admit you’re that naive.
Come on it’s taking risks, faster cornering ;) Just don’t worry about 7 watts per kilo?

I really wonder what the media in Denmark is saying. Are any game enough to question their heroes performance?
