Half the descent of Pas de Peyrol in street view is covered by snow. That may explain his poor performance in that section today.

Jonas's efforts on the descents today were huge, must improved over his descent down the Galibier. He's really finding his old form now.He has said that Laporte and Van Aert have pushed him in descents during training, which has helped him regain confidence after the crash. After seeing the latter's crash today, maybe they haven't been the best coaches

Amazing rider, I think he's boring as a person, and too calculated during the race, but what an athlete. He's probably going to win his 3rd TDF and knowing where he's coming from that's simply amazing.

Pogacar is the best cyclist of all time (not greatest chill) he just is even if you support Vingegaard he is. Merckx wouldnt beat vingegaard or Wva, Pedersen or Mvdp in flandern you all know that.
But when saying Pogacar is that you cannot not say Vingegaard is also one of the best GT riders of all time the level is so high. Nothing but respect whoever you support be that Vingegaard or Pogacar heated discussions which im sure is going on (giro fatigue, injury of vingegaard etc im to busy with sunmmer haha) or whatever betwen fans which isnt relevant at all. At the end of the day when you see those two cross the line and shake hands thats whats its about and nothing but respect thats just what it is....and the reality of it is both are two legends we are incredible lucky to see for the levle is insane, make no mistake about it!
Its impossible not to respect Vingegaard he is big part of the equation why Pogacar is the best and Vingegaard himself when its all said and done very well can be the best GT rider of all time nothing is out of question there yet either theres still alot of story still to be written for him in that department (talking about levels not greatness just as with Pogacar in case people think im on something, its a huge difference betwen the two).
Anyway nothing but respect its impossible to not respect him and this brilliant ride, hats off!! Way to go Danish warrior

For me is a similar situation than Contador when won that Vuelta after knee problems...Vingegaard had more serious injuries, he was long time on the hopsital, so it is more amazing, but they just started a little bit short of shape, but improving
