Going for the Froome/Chicken level conditioning it looks like

I remember walking around for a bit around sub-10% bf when I was a lot younger and stupider and felt like I was on deaths door, this guy can't be much over 5 and he's not even proper race ready yet, how they can even turn the pedals looking like that I've no idea.

Does Victor store Jonases fat in the bosoms section?

I am not reading 10 pages in a Vingegaard topic, but why is he complaining about the race doctor after his concussion? As I remember there already was a lot of discussion after the stage that day that it was his DS who wanted him to ride to the finish as nothing was wrong. If he wants to blame anyone he should blame him self and his team.

A new version of the Skeletor machine is being prepared for the double Tour-Vuelta. This is a new software

Something never seen is coming.

That doesn't look all that encouraging, IMHO, hopefully Jonas isn't mismanaged in this regards. We'll see.

Vingegaard: "My values already look promising. I am better than last year and the year before. I looked at how Pogacar performed in the spring. It was impressive, but I'm only focused on my Tour. Besides, his spring doesn't mean he'll be that dominant in the Tour" (Sporza)

@Froome

Of course.

Anyway, based on the pictures they are likely already hitting a point on where performance, recovery and mental health will start to get affected. Due to too low body fat. We'll see.

So you don't know.

I explained how it would work in practice. Rider crashes hits head and is then placed in the medical car. Given a baseline test ( questionnaire ) to compare answers with off-season baseline tests. You answer the questions and you rejoin the race. If not you are out of the race. Finally, don't come to me again and say I have not explained the process.

So, when should they rejoin the race?
Should they sit, and rest, in the med car and get an advantage? Maybe ride in the car up a mountain

He also said he's confident he can beat Pogacar. I like this, I want the best edition yet in the Pogacar v. Vingegaard Tour battle. If Jonas is on top form, and we get the Pogacar we saw last year, it could be a very tightly fought battle!

They are not getting a rest. They are being assessed for concussive symptoms. They usually do the baseline test in 15 or 20 minutes. Look at it another way. Is it any different to holding on the medical car for 5 or 10 minutes while getting wounds treated by the doctor.

but why is he complaining about the race doctor after his concussion?
Because the race doctor seemingly said that...
nothing was wrong
When something was wrong.
it was his DS who wanted him to ride
Possibly because he was told by the race doctor that nothing was wrong.
he should blame him self
He was concussed. Why would he blame himself for making a bad decision while concussed?
and his team
Yes, his team should've pulled him out 100%. Even if the race doctor falsely claimed, that he wasn't concussed.

How is it unfair? A rider crashes and you would rather they hop on their bike and continue without thought for their health. You only have to look at the Vingegaard situation in PN.
It's unfair riding, and resting, in the med car for 20 mi and continue the race as nothing happend, if cleared to race.

After a crash your body might actually be worse off after 20 minutes of rest than if you've kept riding. It can create an unfair advantage, but if you want to make sure that consussed riders are taken good care of it could be a solution. It is not perfect, but it's something. I doubt riders will start crashing intentionally because of it.

Think SB, should Pogi ride with med car for 20 minutes just behind Pidders wheel?
