For what it's worth I think Xabi Alonso is still traumatized too, he's still picking bits of stud out of his ribcage.

He played with Pepe and Sergio Ramos, he probably got worse in training.

Yes, the tour is the biggest race but not bigger than a good combination of the other races (also it's debatable whether winning the tour is harder than me losing those 5 kilos).
