So imagine you're Vingegaard. You obviously want to win tomorrow. But where do you attack? Do you ever put teammates in the break so that you can just very safely and comfortably blast off on Pradell?

One or two teammates helping him from the top and as long as they can.

A Pradell attack is a bit risky. The lower part of the descent is a bit of a highway where you can get mowed down.
I would attack on Isidre if it is an open race. Or if his team is unexpectedly good, I would just wait for the last climb.

Don't think they'll put teammates in the attack. Probably want to control the race just in case something would go wrong. He'll let his team set a high pace on Santuari de Queralt, and once Kuss is done, he'll attack. A very UAE-like scenario.

Unless, like I said in the Evenepoel topic, Remco wants to go earlier, and Vingegaard joins him. Then the both of them might ride into the sunset, and eventually Vingegaard wins the sprint or drops Remco

Remco won't drop anyone, so...

I think Evenepoel + Vingegaard make up session is more bound for the Montjuic circuit. I can see that be very similar to 2023.

I have not calculated just the attack part yet, but if 6.4 w/kg is true then just the the attack part would rate worse in my model than the whole climb. (6.13 w/kg for 38:25)
I could, but it's not really that useful because the entire race is always different.

But taking 1 minute+ on basically everyone, and riding guys off your wheel and taking much of the time in what's mostly unfavorable headwind is really strong.
The wind in the second half of the climb was not really a headwind and even if it was that would make extending the gap against a non-cooperating group even easier. It was still a good performance and he could have done even more damage with better pacing.

As I said multiple times, I think it's much easier to do the Tour after racing Almeida in the Giro than doing the Vuelta after racing Pogacar in the Tour.

I think he will actually improve between the Giro and the Tour.
In that sense it is easier but like Pogacar, Vingegaard is putting himself at more risk of an outside event happening ie crash, sick. Both his double attempts he got sick in the Vuelta. Vingegaard is ridding better during the spring but so is Pogacar. There was still a clear gap last year between the two that Vingegaard has to overcome.

I am not impressed by his performance considering the contenders. At first he couldn't drop Gal and others, and at the end he got around 40 seconds on Gal. I think Tadei will destroy him.
