Seems that finally Sky left him to do his own training, he has 1 year to prove that he has something made of win inside him, at the highest level, not cat3 races.

British Cycling has today confirmed that Jonathan Tiernan-Locke has withdrawn from the Great Britain team selected for the men’s elite road race at the UCI Road World Championships.
Jonthn Tiernan-Locke @J_T_Locke 4h
Big ride coming up with KPMG and @ThePackUK hosted by @willcarling ...got a feeling I'm going to have my work cut out on box hill!
I almost feel sorry for the dirty corporation wasting money on this guy. Training is to hard, he is not even bothering putting some effort to show he deserves to be here.
edit: On a 2nd thought i feel sorry for the 45 riders from Euskaltel and VAC-DCM without a contract, who will work hard for a contract, while this dude can't be arsed to do a race.
