Certainly won't be easy for him at Leige with Wiggins, Froome, Henao and Uran all in the same team..
I don't think Froome will ride Liege. Anyway, I think that Amstel Gold Race and Flèche Wallone suit JTL better anyway. It will be very interesting to see how they play their cards in the Ardennes.

According to Nicholas Portal via SkySports website:

" Portal explained the reason behind Tiernan-Locke's withdrawal. “The only sad thing today was that Jonathan had to abandon," he told. "He was suffering with a few stomach problems and he was totally empty. No one wants to stop at this point in the race, but there was nothing he could do. We saw on Wednesday exactly what he is capable of.”

SKY needs to make JTL team leader.

Think about it guys..... If brailsford can't see the talent in JTL over Froome and Wiggins etc then i think SKY need new management, the whole reason in him going to SKY was to make him the next big GT winner.

They probably would only want him to lead in one GT this year though, two big efforts might impact on his favouritism for LBL and Lombardia.

He could prolly do the double but yea i know what you mean with LBL and Lombardy.

Can't see JTL getting a GT leadership this year, totally unproven in the longer stage races. He might ride Vuelta, but in support of Henao. He is not right just now either, withdrawing from P-N early on.

Can only see him being up there in the Ardennes, but Wiggins is interested in L-B-L.

Today's Tirreno stage was more JTL's territory than the kind of thing he'd face in grand tours. He's a puncheur, not a climber.

Feel free to bring this up when he wins a GT :D
