I read the original article the tweet quoted here

I am lost for words.

But if what he says is true...
Super weird that Juan didn't include the other additions to his contract like washing and folding Isaac Del Toro's laundry, making sure Isaac's bed is made, slippers and fresh towels waiting as he exits the bath or shower. Juan responsible for ensuring that Del Toro has fresh cut flowers daily and Del Toro dog is walked, washed and brushed out. Ayuso was to wash, lubricate and check tire pressure on Del Toro's bicycle and remove the special seat cover for Isaac before he rides.
I think that I heard Ayuso needed to ride ahead and get a table for Isaac and friends to enjoy coffee, pastries and delicious mid, post ride chocolates.
This is not a kiss and tell story, Juan's feelings are hurt and he needs that victim feedback, so everyone knows all those mean people who work at the dictator factory are just not nice. I hope he gave the interview while holding a teddy bear, blanket and sippy cup. I always heard that a woman scorn thing, but apparently it's men too. Ayuso probably checks Del Toro fan club numbers social media hits ..alone in his room.
Ayuso spent a few years in Atlanta Georgia and Ayuso English is awesome.
Del Toro is just so so and he really struggles to find the words, so Just Ayuso is better than Isaac in that area..
So Team Trek thinks trashing old boss and team, instigating a feud is a good start for new beginning? Maybe Juan is right, maybe UAE needs some extra motivation..

Seeing Derek Gee's situation, I still wonder if they consider Ayuso the most mistreated cyclist in the peloton.

I don't agree. I have the feeling that in 2021, Pogacar got too comfortable. I'm not saying this because he lost afterward, but because he already won the Tour on Stage 8, winning by more than three minutes over the peloton at le Grand-Bronand. And his training routines, especially for the Tour, weren´t a bit serious.

Allan Peiper knew him best and already said something about this, and that he might have gone into Tokyo overconfident.
UAE wasn't an overly strong team either; they settled for him winning the race by just enough.
They signed Majka and little else.

Vingegaard, in the end, was an important part of his drive to push himself harder.
What would now be VDP, the training he does for the cobbles classics is to be able to beat him. I suppose beating someone like VDP on De Ronde was the impetus for him to go to Paris-Roubaix and believe he can do it

Am I misremembering or did Skjelmose come out a couple years ago and say something to the effect that he has narcissistic personality disorder but is working on it?
He's solitary, said he didn't do parties in gymnasium cause he didn't like it, just went out on his bike because there were no people, there he could do it all on his own. Might be necessary then, to some extent, to like to hear your own yap, just for there be more than just silence, as in, you can play various roles and be fragmented just by yourself, for yourself

I just realized that the link I posted made me think "either or". But two things can simultaneously be true. Ayuso might be a pain in the a55 and someone at UAE might have mentioned Abi Dhabi. It doesn't have to be either or.

That's the only race Pogacar's teammates have to win, and they don't .McNulty, who has become a one-week races farmer farmer, couldn't win this one :tearsofjoy:
Too high of a category for Mcnulty. He is farming .Pro stage races only.
See, UAE developed farmers for each category.
Pogacar - Big races
Almeida - WT on week's
Del Toro - .Pro 1 day's
McNulty - .Pro stage races

He could win the Algarve and Paris-Nice if Vingegaard doesn't go. His chances in Fleche depend if Pogacar will go; in a finish like that, I wouldn't rule out if he surprising Remco.

No chances in Liège, over 225 kilometers race. The same applies to the Tour. Although the stages are short, he'll lose his chances on the queen stage.

Evenepoel isn't riding Fleche, but there are many others that have a better punch than Ayuso on such a steep climb. Nys, Roglic, Del Toro, Vauqelin, Pidcock

Now that Ayuso has lef the Bald Fraud camp (has he actually?), I'm expecting to see a massive progress.
I dunno. Ayuso physique did not seem to have changed much since his early years. methinks he developed early and won't improve much. Can"t remember any major crashes either. But it's clear he wants to be a thorn in UAE side, so that's nice to see.
