@vaughters
Feeling old reading all this news "Darned kids! Back in my day we didn't steal parakeets to buy bike motors! We cheated the old fashioned way!"

Funny guy. Not long ago the very notion of motorized bikes was openly mocked.

Of course "the old fashion way" of cheating was to use the best and most effective methods of the time, while doing everything you could to avoid detection. Good thing that no longer happens.

Stealing small pets.
Cheating in cycling.
Interesting combination of behaviors.

not a massive fan of the plural of behaviour.

unlike being a massive fan of JV and his elan and brio

Yes. I stand corrected!

Pro Bowl linebacker Von Miller unsuccessfully attempted to corrupt the NFL's drug-testing program with the help of a urine collector before each was caught.

JV's love of his home town dopers is deep!

JV your boy Talansky with nothing broken cant continue, not much of a pitbull.............

And Rolland was better with training methods from 70's. :D

Nah, it wasn't really the training methods what did it. It was the clothing

And the shoes

Jonathan Vaughters @Vaughters

Riders themselves exemplify why the riders' union doesn't work; no unified message re weather protocol. Everyone for themselves. Like always

"Everyone for themselves", especially team owners who say they'll quit if they have a positive rider then don't.

Don't you know the meaning of the word 'Hypocrisy'?

Bet there is a dictionary in your Mom's basement ;)

When you get back tell us when Danielson is getting banned.......

Unless he specifically aimed for a good result this week it would be too early to tell.

Paris Nice and Tirenno Adriatico are good testing grounds for GT 'form' and what ever program a rider is on is working.

Rolland would no doubt have been hoping for better than 18th.

JV, ever the comedian.....

John Wakefield ‏@PelotrainRacing 5h5 hours ago
I'm still convinced everytime @RohanDennis kills it on a bike a small piece of @Vaughters dies.

‏@Vaughters
@PelotrainRacing @RohanDennis No. Best decision ever. No matter how successful.

seems JV doesn't understand professional bike racing. It is about winning, no, for your sponsors who pay you to win...but nope for JV its about giving his mates a job until he falls out with them..

Which goes to show this is a money making exercise and less a cycling team, hence all the AD rhetoric.

hmmmm hey JV, some home truths...

Jorge Jaksche on doping today: ‘A wolf cannot change his fur’

Why do you think all the big cyclists moved to Spain? It wasn’t for the good training.

The USADA report wasn’t about truth and honesty and change, it was only about going after Lance. I am almost embarrassed to have been part of this report, because it is so biased. All these people that testified, the only picture they draw is that Lance was evil, and that he made them dope. Well, that’s not true, because they continued to dope when they were on other teams!

The hypocrisy still runs deep in cycling.

...especially when you could finally see nothing would change, and seeing that the same old gangsters were still running the show. A few of us have paid the price of the sins of everyone.

Sutherland slamming Jorg.
Did sound a lot like Talansky slamming Di Luca, didn't it.

Sutherland tested positive in 2005 and the guy who picked him up after that was none other than former ONCE and Garmin-doc Inigo San Millan.
As Sutherland explains it, “at the pro level, it doesn’t matter how hard you can climb in the first 30 minutes, except to hang on. The race is at the end.” Sutherland and his physiologist, Iñigo San Millan, did a lot of work to prepare for that stage. His finishing climb was impressive in its own right, but more impressive was the stamina they built to get there. It took “such an effort to get in the break, stay in the break, and then actually have something left for the climb.”

It's increasingly easy to see what kind of narrative we're being sold and how corrupt that narrative is.

why does JV dislike Jaksche

“I was part of this USADA report because I wanted to be transparent and help change cycling, but I have to say in retrospect, it was a mistake to have testified. The USADA report wasn’t about truth and honesty and change, it was only about going after Lance. I am almost embarrassed to have been part of this report, because it is so biased. All these people that testified, the only picture they draw is that Lance was evil, and that he made them dope. Well, that’s not true, because they continued to dope when they were on other teams!”
