Even Race Radio, someone held in extremely high regard here, came here a month or so ago saying that currently doping is much less common than some of the clinic think.

Did Armstrong ever publicly sign something like that together with colleague riders and calling dopers stupid f*cks? It has more meaning that "What am i on?" which was far easier than something like this.

So yes, you could be overly cynic about it and not see the value of it.

Also, the consequences aren't as dramatic as you point, but they're there non te less. If you take a standpoint like that and get caught eventually you'll fall much harder from grace, Armstrong is exactly the example of that.
Agree; this is more than Armstrong ever did. I'm not saying anyone anyone should automatically believe them because they did this, but I do think they should still get some credit for having done it.

Tony is sqeaky clean. Guaranteed from someone who performance-tested him for many years. Like John, he is police officer. Any doping offense would probably not just cost them their career but also their pension provisions.
Pechstein got away with it. But yeah, a cyclist probably couldn't successfully make a defense like that in Germany.

Slamming Armstong now means almost nothing. His interview with Oprah, was an implicit permission for other cyclists from the Boss himself: "Don't hesitate to call me names and denigrate me". But today, hitting on Armstong by the cyclists may be the defense of Omerta just the same, as defending him couple of months ago.
What matters is reavealing new facts: exposing fellow dopers, doctors and managers.

True, but Kittel was already slamming Armstrong and his defenders before the Oprah interview, when Lance's lawyers were still saying that the USADA reasoned decision was a 'one-sided hatchet job'.

Real shame that 3 racers can come out and make a statement like this ! NO request , or compelling reason to do so ! WHAT have they gained for telling the TRUTH ?

Sorry folks , doubt they know that you lot exist , let alone worry about YOUR Opinions !

For years i was saying that the Racers should have to pay their winnings into a " Savings Account " controlled by a third party , so that if they were caught " doping " , etc , they would have something substantial to lose . Of course everyoner knows better than me , why this would not work .

Give these guys CREDIT , for positive action , hopefully , more will follow their lead .

YES , as Police officers , they will get locked up , IF they were trying to pull a STUNT ! Pension and everything else would be gone !

Too bad those throwing , are hiding behind untraceable IP addresses , otherwise i am sure they could ask colleagues , to treat you as " porn suspects ".

Damn i really dislike Kittel. Spinter who seriously can't do anything but that. Nothing at all...

I love it how De gendt called him out "He messed with his blood and now he's calling people out" Classic :D

And Kittel pretends like it's a big deal to call people out now. "Oh I called out Armstrong i'm a god now."

Yeah you're a really brave man to talk **** to armstrong now. Respect

Let's make a sprinter who can't get over a freaking hill the guy of "no doping"!!! At least it's believable, oh wait the blood-story:eek:

Where's der jan? :p

Obviously they worry about our opinions. Why else do what they just did?

Talk about a contradiction.

Never look at those with the most to lose as being the most likely to behave honestly. Human beings just don't act that way.

The same Kittel who had his exposed to UV light?
Maybe he wanted to make sure the reports about the motel/hotel comforters was true after he rolled around in them :D

Martin was riding and winning back in the day I still kept semi in touch with race results. Perhaps it's cleaner now, but he was beating super duper über dopet legands then already.

Good point. Armstrong is yesteryear's Ricco. It's OK to slam him, all of the boys' club does it.

Kittel says (in the video) that he sometimes has suspicions about other riders, but nothing definite (and he won't say who). In the article he is quoted as saying that he would definitely report someone if he saw them doping 'with my own eyes'.

Is this omerta weakening or more of the same?

Isn't he one of the Black Light brigade? Has blood removed, treated with light and then reinfused? Sounds like the pot calling the kettle Black to me!

Agreed.

Anyone using a needle for anything other than traditional medicine delivery should kinda STFU about other people's dubiousness imo.

the more egregious when they have all been in the tent and touted the armstrong talking points.

they were complicit.

enablers insofar as they were a byproduct of THE Myth.

now they are ganging up n gutless. So, they were complicit, facilitators and enablers, and then like Millar they pile on in. Who is worse? Well, I thought could not get worse than Armstrong. But folks like Millar have taken the baton, and run, after they have thrown their bike cos of a mechanical.

Why do all the Brits crack the sads and throw their bikes? Dont they have cornflakes in the UK?

Porridge. Not bad once or twice a year. But every morning? Enough to depress anyone.

To be fair, WADA prohibited this in 2011, UCI later, Kittel got treatment in 2008.

Not to speak of the UV/OZON - therapy hoax

I believe Kittel and Degenkolb when they say they were naive back then.

Personally I would've done the same when I was at their age. I'm the kind of person who isn't able to cheat in a card game for ****s and giggles. I just do not cheat and I hate it, but if I was 18 years and I was sick and the doctor from the national cycling federation says "He let's try this" and than I would ask "Is this allowed?" and if the doctor than says it is... well ofcourse I would do it.

I believe the 2 Argos guys. Not 100% sure about Martin, but I want to believe him yes.
