They're trying to race, and they don't have a sprinter who can win this race. Bol and Van Winden are reasonably quick.

Was that a go at Renshaw? If so you're probably right, my question was more like what is happening with Breschel and Renshaw. Rabobank remind me a bit of Garmin in that all they're youngsters are incredibly capable of doing well in these races, they deserve a result so fingers crossed.

Sky trio stopped riding for the 2nd group?

Peloton is less than a minute behind the front group (2nd group is catching as I type this), so they are going to sit on until Cavendish catches on. This one is going to be a sprint finish.

Looks like we all chimed in with the same answer.

No 2nd group now, they have caught the first group. Intresting too see what BMC will do with Ballan and GVA

Sky men never rode in the escape group. They are only there to stop the pace for Cavendish.
Peloton is going to return

Never did work from what I saw.

Ah, okay. Saw them coming through to the front, but were probably slowing it down.

That's called 'disturbing the line'. A tactic to slow the pace. You go to the front, and when it's your turn to take over, you stop pedalling. That's what Sky did.
Normal ofcourse with their sprinter behind. But boring for the race

After all that the break will be caught, only thing that has come out of this break was the need for Greipel's leadout to work... Would have to fancy cav now
Edit: Greipel attacking. Cav working?
