He seems to keep going, though, just to finish? You never now, anyone in front of him might crack as well.

It won't be Hushovd. He still gets props from me--never seen guys in the front drop out of the race, which means he must have really laid it on the line. I can only imagine how empty he is right now.

And such a big name too, a bit of a shocker.

Or is he going to give it a go?

Almost reminds me of one of the first stages of the 2002 Tour de France where Thor was in a breakaway but was totally empty due to dehydration and cramps and had to fight hard to even manage the time limit on the completely flat stage.

Thanks. Yeah that seems an appropriate comparison right now. I wouldn't be shocked if only a handful of guys actually finished the race. They all look baked.

Roulston waiting for Hushovd, according to Procyclinglive. They were teammates last year, think they've been talking together?

No shocker at all! The shocker is that Thor is in there at all, he has been down with a cold for ages, and delayed his start of the season with several weeks. According to himself, he is far from his top form.

Well done Thor!

Seconded.

Whooo. Wait. Who were they talking about concerning the hitting the tree and a car and all the other things they listed?

They were discussing if Roultson would wait for Thor, and then he'd tow him to the finish. Roulston would take 4th and perhaps a nice little present in a later race. Hypothetically speaking.
