It was Lefevere himself who thought Evenepoel was misused during the WCC. It has been the trademark of the team to not put all their eggs in one basket for two decades, that has made them so successful.

Not really relevant. Alaphilippe so far has won one uphill sprint finish this year, against Doubey and Hermans. There is no reason to pretend he is invincible here, especially vs Pogacar.

Biggest problem is that Alaphilippe has not shown stellar form, which he is going to need in order to beat Pogacar and Cosnefroy. If he is in form, he should have no issue with the pace.
