apart from Plouay last year, there haven't really been many races Pogacar ever did without aiming for a result

Watching La Flèche Wallone now is like sitting down at noon to see the sun go down.
For a very long time, this was how the majority of races were raced outside of the cobbles. Thankfully we have seen some absolutely great racing this year, so watching this race is a big contrast.

Didn't know Van Wilder was riding here. If he got his preseason form, a top 10 is possible.

Was Mas at Itzulia as good as at the 2022 Vuelta?
Was Pogacar at the other side of the World last week?

Probably not at the first and certainly not at the second. Still, weirder things have happened in cycling.

Racing blowing up in this Mur ascent. Batistella, Mollema and Valter attacking, UAE following.

Long race attacks can be nice, but not when it's the same 3-4 riders who do it - and with success every time.

on paper, maybe, but it sounded like they have more hope for Bagioli and Schmid. Usually it's difficult to play multiple cards on the Mur.
