Voigt says Nys is constantly near the end of the peloton, is that correct?
I can't remember, I watch a lot of races but I'm afraid my mind is like a sieve when it comes to remembering the detailsAre the conditions any where near as bad as last year.
Do you know how this is decided? I have no clue.Seems surprising. Not a comment against Remco but I don’t think a race favourite should be part of the decision in any case. This would be across the board so no top sprinter for a flat stage, no MVDP/Mads P etc in the classics and no Jonas/Primoz/Tadej/Remco in stage races.
Too much conflict of interest potential.
Maybe 2nd time Mur de Huy? Although it's still quite far from there. But if you go hard with your team on the Mur, there are only a few riders that aren't completely dead on top. That's the perfect time to attack for Evenepoel.cote de l'erREV he will launch?
Yeah it's not a 40 finishers type of race but it's definitely grim enough that it'll have an impact on the result. The problem last year was that no one expected it and riders didn't have their rain jackets. Also temperatures dropped from like 13 degrees to 0 in a few minutes time.
So no, not comparable to this year at all. Riders are better prepared and most of the rain is falling in the west en center of the country. According to radar it's gonna keep raining from now on tho.
just tuned in, shyytty weather
Some carnage already at the back of the peloton. UAE increasing the pace
Just tuned in and I (again) and right about the first thing Bengtsch says is that they are going up the Cote de Cevap. This is probably a mixture of Cevappi and Kebab. So what can we ask more of today?
Yeah... Quite a lot worse than Flanders, I'd say. Loads of gravel roads and cobbles around. Is the road quality normally this bad on Huy? Super gravelly on the sides
Also, Rolf Sørensen made me lose my mind by claiming that the Meuse was the border of Flanders and Wallonia. What on earth?!Yeah... Quite a lot worse than Flanders, I'd say. Loads of gravel roads and cobbles around.
edit: you were talking about the Mur de Huy, not Wallonia in general. Bear with me, I have a migraine...
