Man, Contador looks disappointed. He really wanted to win. At least he's behaving more politely on the podium than a certain rider who finished 3rd at last year's tour.

I bet AC comes back and tries to win this in the future. He looks really disappointed with himself.

Contador did not have his usual acceleration. I think all the small climbs sapped the snap in his legs. This does not mean anything for the TdF.

Just the psychology of it, and this is a big deal for Evans. He's been a self-doubter, I think.

I'm sure he will. Props to AC for giving the race a real go.

Rodriguez seemed happiest of all of them. But not all that happy.

They definitely were the great animators today.

Катюша is definitely one of the major cycling powers right now, and I imagine thats only going to increase over the next few years.

Yeah, they have a really strong sqaud. WIth some talented youngsters also.
Plus they got a lot of funds behind them. It helps.

Yeah, I noticed that too. BUT NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS: THE BIG STORY IS THAT GT RIDERS ARE NOW TAKING THE CLASSICS SERIOUSLY.

Great for the sport, moving it away from where Pharmstrong took it.

LOL, off to work. Been skipping it for this!

Yea, that is how it seems to me. I think wins like this will only embolden him in the GT's. I don't think it will mean a win in the TdF, but he looks to be the clear favorite for the Giro.

Can you stop being a douche? You're going to get people to hate Evans.

Yea, Evans doesn't need any help in the department...

I was having a joke in that comment. Don't care what you think!
Sure you were, I guess that's why you're beings so cheerful about the conversation that followed you joke. They say feelings don't translate well through the internet, but I could really feel the smilies hiding under those four *'s.

Very nice trend indeed. Real men ride more than one race with the intention of winning.
