Dutch riders deserve all the scorn that they can get.

t'is true. And the dutch aren't afraid to criticize their riders for their faults. Even though gesink incident today was pretty much unavoidable, he still has a lot to learn (I mean all those crashes...?), will come with experience I guess.

Evans experience on the Mur du Huy won it over Contaodr who misjudged it.

I'm sure Phil and Paul and Bob will cover AC's misjudgement in great detail on Sunday when this race finally airs on Versus. I'm already steeling myself to hear about "lots to learn" etc.

**** you!

Perhaps if you take such great offence at having your hero suspected you shouldn't paint with so broad a brush concerning Spanish Riders. It makes your outrage rather cheap, you know pots, kettles, rocks and glass houses.

Gesink finished 15th. Amstel doesn't lie, he is not in the shape had in Basque country. Sadly, this will be a very very dark spring for Dutch riders

I agree.

woot 6 riders at this years WC

It was a good win for Cadel and BMC. There are several other riders I would have been happy to see win too.

I dislike when he labels the Spaniards as dopers. It is indeed cheap, and short sighted.

Keep that sh!t for the clinic.

One key fact: this will also give Evans more confidence at the Tour versus Contador, not that this result has anything to do with Tour. Just a confidence thing.

Terrific win for Cadel!! I was so ****ed when I thought AC was going to take it and then my stream died so I missed the finish, but boy did I smile when I saw Evans and not AC being the number 1!

Absolutely right, he let Contador hit out ahead and tire himself out early, and saved his kick for the last possible pitch.

Blame it on the 1900km drive, what else?

Contador did not have his usual acceleration. I think all the small climbs sapped the snap in his legs. This does not mean anything for the TdF.
