Shout out for Kool doing her own lead out.
She shouldn't have needed to though. I am not sure who the other DSM rider was who was on the opposite side.

Shout out for Kool doing her own lead out.
So much for wide straight roads making finishes safer (okay there were a few roundabouts). Hope when they get up the mountains they can stay off the freeways.I am little worried for tomorrow's certain bunch sprint considering the two finishes so far have both resulted in crashes. Today it looked like a case of touching wheels and thus a rider error.
She's been struggling to get over a bout of early season flu, each time she came back, it came back again,so she's only done about 2/3rds of the racing of the others.Kool has not reached top form all season. In saying that DSM normally nail the lead outs.

So 2nd is good, especially as we didnt think she'd make it over that hill to stay in touch till the end, though I appreciate the pace might have helped.

I doubled checked. I think its just a translation error. She just felt faint & stopped. She lost conscience during today's stage? While she was riding?

She just stopped understanding the concept of guilt. She lost conscience during today's stage? While she was riding?
This would also explain the loss of "conscience" rather than "consciousness".That makes a bit more sense.
Did she really have any to begin with ?RIP Realini's GC hopes
