could someone give me a little more context about Vollering's comments about riding for those with mental illness?
The posts people did below are an excellent overview. She said before that the inner team competition and what looked like team management preference- lack of support for her were really hard on every aspect of her life on and off the bike. Her team transfer has to feel great right about now!

When you hear they gave the Team Visma Lease A bike rider Marion the young rider of the stage award...no not that Marianne, Marion 😂

It doesn't work so well when you can see the difference in spelling and not hear the accents

and we all need to whine about it publicly, because that makes it all better.

It keeps being rumoured every year, so you would think it must end up in the race at some point. It would also stick to the theme of having the hardest climb be an MTF rather than placing it earlier in a stage.
Would be good to maybe do a final weekend with Angliru as an MTF on the Saturday and then something like Oviedo - Cobertoria - Cordal - Manzaneda - Oviedo (with or without Monte Naranco) on the final day. Or a Gijón finish with San Martín de Huerces and a descent to the line.

But what is the chance of that happening?

Thanks for sharing that,
She is one of ten or 12 very, very positive racers who have fitness, depth, ability for longer hard races that have challenges. And her not sitting in is great to watch!! I was anti female racing for years because of shallow talent pool and super negative racing, with everyone sizing each other up until close to the end!! Now you are seeing bold racing, women attacking each other and attacking and rolling off solo for dynamic finishes!! Gets a little better each year..

The Vollerring post race interview was a dig at her old team SD Worx. She would have benner to call them out.

Could be good for Paternoster with Vos and Bredewold digging deep for a moment. But she’s the only one still with a black vest on, Italians are always cold it seems.

Hope she can get the win today. Don’t know how hard the next little climb is. Hope she can hold on and be fresh enough to sprint.

Hopefully Guazzini's band-aid doesn't get stuck in anyone's wheel once it eventually falls off her chin.

That corner took all the others out of the sprint again. Impressive from Vos and Wolff leadout. The jump won it.

GOAT again, but Bredewold gave it her all. Wollaston messed up the last corner, but came with good speed at the end.

Professional win number 257 for Vos. I mean if Pogi ever is up for a real challenge, try to get close to that number buddy.

Think there was a crash in the 200m turn. Was following Letizia, she followed wheels on her own again, got in the first 5-10 positions and got squeezed with the 3 riders in front of her and disappeared out of the corner. Saw her getting over the line around 30th, so nothing bad. You could see a bike on the ground, don’t know who it was.

Edit: was a crash just behind her. I’m relieved.
