No, I did mean Oprah. Back in the day when I obviously had time to waste I used to watch her show. One of the reasons I stopped looking at it was because she would ask a question and when the person began to answer, she'd interrupt. It really got on my nerves.

Sally has another book to write for Lance. If Lance doesn't choose her as the co-author, then probably she'll write a column like Buzz Bissinger.

What he means I think she is not part of the "british cycling establishment" which is certainly true - and I think she has suffered for that.
She has lived life on continental teams separated from most of the British riders - nothing to do with the "manchester mob". She paved the way for British women.

Silence means he was out rock climbing, yes in the northern UK, and no I never bet on anything as a rule! - I just opened an account because lance saying the word "USADA" in Oprah interview sounded as close to free money as I have seen in a long time!

PS does anyone have a link to Nicole's interview about Lance?
She is my kind of rider - what I love about cycling.. I have watched her every opportunity since seeing her live at the commonwealth road race just up the road from me here. She fell at the bottom of a hill, lost 30 seconds, then in a burst of adrenalin. Got up shook herself down. Launched after them, caught them, and didn't stop as she went past to medal

Yeah it's all good, but let's not suck Buzz's **** that easily shall we.

He had no other option but to do what he has done.

He should have acted like a proper sports journalist when he had to instead of handling the matter in such an amateurish way.

Apologies if this was mentioned in an earlier post, but I haven't spotted it yet. A coworker told me this morning that she saw "excerpts" of Oprah's LA interview on OWN last night (Sunday). They were advertising showing these excerpts last night, with the full interview airing Thursday on CBC (here in Canada).

My coworker didn't watch the whole thing, but said she saw him admit to using drugs but act like he was forced into it, basically blaming everyone but himself. Oprah apparently kept coming back to something like, "But you're an adult - shouldn't you take some responsibility for your actions?"

Unfortunately I missed the whole thing - and I'm a bit puzzled, because other media are advertising that the interview is being taped today. Anybody else see the excerpts last night, or have clarification on what that was, vs. what's being taped today/shown on Thurs?

I saw it as well. What Lance was saying was his evil alter ego forced him to dope. The good Lance didn’t want to but the voices in his head got louder and louder and louder until good Lance gave in to bad Lance and he doped.
