“I think Oprah understands the pressure of this interview,” he said. “She’s clever. She’s seen people questioning whether she will go deep. I’ve assured her that I want her to go deep with her questions, and I’m going to answer those questions openly, honestly and with full transparency. And, quite frankly, I’m looking forward to it.”

LOL, Wonderboy is simply clueless. Nice BS you're feeding us here, Mr. Contrite, pre meditated, BS a%$#(*.

I don't think he's shown to be clueless in his handling of the Oprah thing so far. The Clinic is not his target audience, and he's not trying to win us over. I imagine that kind of BS will actually work decently with the broader public.

Everything less has been a rehash...assuming you all know he is now sequestered with a legion of lawyers and Oprah at a downtown unnamed hotel. Didn't make it back to the house after visiting LiveStrong...

Not sure but I think everything he is doing is done so with direction provided. Just because the clinic knows the score does not mean the audience that will watch the interview has the same knowledge that is here in the clinic.

in any event. oprah isn't clever and she probably gets paid a few million for this to ask her typical non critisizing questions.

Nope because all his bs will be trotted out and rebutted but much more quickly than has been done previously.

The best he could have hoped for was to fade away. Now he's just inviting all kinds of fresh mockery from his critics who will be very prepared to rag the bejezus out of him...

The guy is nuts...

Notice they didn't show the walls with the 7 TDF jerseys?:D
You being serious? Because the video I watched showed the AP reporter saying that he talked with him while he was running and in the time they were showing video of him and also showed the 7 jerseys hanging on the wall.

The AP reporter said that he was expecting a confession and that it would be after over a decade of denials.

Anyhow expect some fireworks in the next few weeks I would guess.

Well I will probably get knocked up for saying this but in my opinion there is some thought's out on the interweb,,,,that this is all calculated and that there will be some "interesting" events that some in the clinic might not have thought about.

I hope you are not correct. Then again, I fear that this "no-holds-barred" interview is going to be an infomercial for Lance. Oprah will use her patented "firm voice" in asking questions, but she won't push things too far. Lance will be able to wax his story, and Oprah will waltz with him. As soon as I heard "limited confession" my suspicions grew. No-holds-barred and limited don't fit together.

Of course it's calculated. Expect nothing less than extreme precision too. The lies have to work very well and somehow fit on top of the decades of lying that came before.

What are these interesting events? Real or otherwise, please share. No judgement on you for sharing. Just post em' up!

No, I saw that... I was being sarcastic, thats why I had the smiley face at the end. Didn't some outlet claim he sent the jerseys back?

Here you go.

The Associated Press @AP
AP Source: Oprah's interview with Lance Armstrong was "emotional": http://bigstory.ap.org/article/armstrong-ready-oprah-comes-town -AB

Whatever 'emotional' means.

In the case of LA, 'emotional' isn't worth the paper it is printed on. This whole charade is a managed event in any attempt to limit his losses and money. I would, however, not be too surprised if Nike and Trek take him back into their marketing fold . . . it really is a sad day.

"Emotional" means that Armstrong realized that, of the "ten close friends and advisors..." AP describes as accompanying him to the interview; all of them were paid to be there. You'd cry too if no one would be caught near you without being paid.
Now we know why it's taken this long to have his Oprah moment: it's taken him years to learn how to act like he cares....
