OK, I will make a deal with you, you can choose a "name" for yourself, be it BPC or whatever. Just don't call me "mate" .

Fair enough ?

Sorry mate, you said hello to me.

Unfortunately the same name tends to get banned, you see, so can't help you out there.

Yeah, but we can use it as a nickname, not your current login name....

Just got back from a group ride with a lot of friends actually. (That was what happened in the break between account!)

If I was looking for friends here I'd be joining in this officially sanctioned troll thread and remarking how great it is Armstrong didn't win a stage.

I just caught the ending. I hate him. But if he had ridden the whole tour (bad crash and all) with the same heart as he rode today, I'd have to take my hat off at least for the riding. He messes it all up when he opens his mouth.

I'm going to have to politely disagree with you. He saved his legs over the last 5 or 6 stages to make this move and go for the win, I don't see him recovering enough to tonight and tomorrow to challenge for the overall. Andy is going to be going all out to distance AC. Even if Armstrong is up the road, they will definitely summit the climb at a much faster rate.

I don't see him factoring on Thursday.
I think there was a misunderstanding. You see, it wasn't that he saved his legs; he just shaved his legs.

I'm sorry I cannot hold my tongue anymore. This thread is ridicuous with the gross number of errors.

It is not Lance's cadence that made him such a good climber, it is the "suppleness of his pedaling action. The pedaling action that he and Johan Bruyneel have perfected over the years to make him a Tour de France Champion."

You guys know nothing!!

I knew someone more skilled than me would set the record straight. How about that Euro dudes, what say you now??!!

I dunno, the cadence thing and the supple pedalling style are overrated. I feel like his enormous heart (both physical and metaphorical), as well as the immense number of slow-twitch fibers in his leg muscles, are the real reason he's the greatest champion of all time. Why would he need to win the 17th stage (which he, as you gentlemen so astutely point out, will), when he's won all 16 of the stages that have already taken place (plus the first rest day, which I didn't even know could be won until he did it)... in our hearts.

Live.

Strong.

I appreciate the affectations and I apologise that i have not had time to post during the tour. As you understand this is a hard time for me hanging out by the bus hoping to catch a drop of sweat or other fluid on my face, not to mention maintaining several CN forum user names.

However you should really focus on the guy who is doing all the good things. LANCE. Not only has he been good enough to attend da tour this year to boost ratings and attract more money but he has been menotring young riders on how to be grat champions like him. He has given away gift after gift this year and ollowed others to have their time in the spot light.

He is truely a great champion, Im sure I we can agree on that.

i'd like to see a fully juiced lance, after spending an entire rest day recieving a whole body transfusion, stomping up the tourmalet throwing fists at anyone in his way, and winning the stage by 45 minutes. Sure his sweat alone would test positive for 6 kinds of peds and cause the road to grow hair where it landed. But what a way to go out.

Immediately after winning the stage he does a mountain of coke and motorboats the podium girls.

Liggett would have a heart attack. Roll would sniff the ground hoping for leftovers. Sherwen would explain how this part of France is renowned for growing the coca plant.

Lance will get Bjarne to give him Cancellera's Roubaix bike, he'll hit the secret button and that'll be it. The amazing 1000W engine in the seat tube powered by a single hyper optimised AAA battery when combined with Lance's patented suppleness, high cadence and opponent crushing look will propel Lance so fast that he'll finish the stage before it's even started. Not only will he win the Maillot Jaune, but also 10000 yellow lions. That's real big scary powerful lions, not the cute stuffed ones that Alberto and Evens like so much.

It's a proven fact that If you take into account the corialis effect and the fact that every other year the Tour runs counter-clockwise in the northern hemisphere, LA's cadence actually increases by 1.37825 RPM.

Seriously, it's been proven in the low-speed wind tunnel in San Diego.
