Chris, you must admit you liked the fake rack thoChrisE said:And the email explains why she and LA are still good friends and get along. Alot of quid pro quo going on there.
Personally I never could stand her with her goofy smile, especially after the fundie deep end crap.
tifosa said:Bravo, Floyd -- not for being the fab cyclist you used to think you were, but for finally becoming the better person your parents believed they raised.
I believe the timing of this statement has EVERYTHING to do with conscience, the statute of limitations, and Floyd's anger at hypocritical key players in cycling. The Tour of California? Please! If the news didn't break during the ToC, naysayers would claim another race had been sullied. There is cycling from January to November!
If the story broke in December, people would say, "Thanks Floyd, for ruining Christmas, you pr!ck!"
Bravo Floyd. Speak out, speak the truth, and provide a complete statement of the facts as you know them. The whole truth, however expensive, will be cycling's salvation.
The sport has been filthy since its inception. I know. I competed in the 1970's. Same sport, different dope.

If you think this is going away you are dreaming. The Feds are involved, you don't lie to the Feds. They have other witness besides Landis. Your boy is cooked, time to catch up with reality.

wigglytoes said:I've found that I just didn't care to watch or pay attention to any of the races this year. Mainly because (after reading Lance to Landis and a few other cycling books) I was convinced that the EVERYONE in the front of the peloton was doping.
I'm very disappointed to see that the back of the peloton is also doping.
I'll bet there are now a few people who wished that they had done more to get Floyd into the Tour of California. It's really difficult to be the only one who is getting punished for something that everyone else is doing.
Dear Floyd:
Good on you. I just hope that you're strong enough to handle the s**t storm that's about to land on you.
I just had a daydream. Instead of all these dopers circling the wagoons, and lying through their teeth, again, and again. Wouldn't it be nice if they came together, held a press conference, admitted their acts, and actually tried to make the sport into something that I could give a c**p about.
