If they got one unit before the TdF then on average they would have to get another unit every four days. That seems like a lot to me, but I'm no expert.

Yes that what I was implying, more than three InTour would be substantial (two rest days and queen stage or ITT).

What's the ETA for the "SSDD" tweet?

One of the amusing parts with all this - that has almost been overlooked -Flandis has finally admitted doping!!

At least that silences the conspiracy theorists.

That will be his only saving grace. Though I wonder if there is pressure on Vaughters to come clean now? Tyler?

Ya come on Tyler, it's time. We need you to cut the bullsh*t and tell us what the F really went down. Don't insult our intelligence any longer.

it's going to get better. There's more to it. Payoffs to cover up for doping positives in the '02 tour, bribing labs etc.

Flandis really has nothing to lose at this point. You can sue a guy without any money, but what's that gonna bring you? I have a feeling a couple of other guys will flip to save their own skin and then it's all going to come down.

That is the point I have been making for some time. FLandis is judgement proof. There is no reason for him to live his life as a scapegoat and a pariah.

Hopefully Hamilton will man up and take the opportunity to find absolution.

Info about UCI corruption will be sweet indeed.

This - who will it be....what about someone like Livingston even.

How bad would be for Vaughters if he spilled the beans?

Yet the revelations about everyone else he will get to some credibility back - revenge is sweet.

On the other hand many of the suckers with more money than brains who donated to the Floyd Fairness Fund are gonna be pi$$ed off big time.

Another interesting thing is that it sounds like they were using whole blood, and the operation was handled by the riders themselves.

Didn't Fuentes freeze some of the blood he was storing?

To keep it longer.

I'm actually very much surprised by the amount. In particular when it wasn't frozen. Which means it won't keep all that long (~3 months), so you'd have to replace 2.5 l blood and ramp up your training to peak at the right time. How much EPO was needed to replace that much blood in such a short time under hard training conditions? It boggles the mind.

That is surprising. There must be some good medical/scientific minds at work somewhere along the line though. Not that Bruyneel, or Armstrong for that matter, ever seem short on intelligence. Cold cunning calculating intelligence it seems.

Real artists these guys were.

The final nail in the coffin would be for DNA matches to last year's infusion kits to be revealed. That would destroy the Hog's credibility and probably Armstrong's as well.

What happened to the Astana investigation from last tour???

It explains why those guys could never race the Giro.

I'd pop open a champagne bottle right now if I had one, even though at some point I liked and respected all of those guys in the past. I hope this is like Tiger's fender bender and opens up the floodgates. And there are a lot of people I'd like to see on the witness stand, under oath.

I knew this day would come. Gonna be bad times for the sport for quite a while but this was necessary for its long-term survival.

This is why I think FLandis should push the use of Postal Service money to buy drugs angle if that is what happened. You can bet there will be a politician ready to step in and demagogue the situation for his own personal agrandizement. Put some of these riders before Congress and see what they say.
