Or if he was clean and had never won a Tour.

Despite the fact that this email seems to be written by a 12-year-old with no sense of spelling or geography, I tend to believe most of what's in it. And I'm very much looking forward to the reactions of hypocrites such as Danny Pate, who accuses everyone and their mother of doping as long as they don't speak English, but who now finds all the big names of American cycling in the past decade quite believably accused of doping.blackcat said:Blablabla.
Look forward to much more detail as soon as you can demonstrate that you can
be trusted to do the right thing.

Im a believer in innocent till proven guilty - IF gulty he should rot like the rest of them

Last year there was a thread where people were trying to link the Cortisone positive in 1999 to a "donation" made in the earlier 2000s - perhaps the "donation" was for a positive in 01/02 and not the TUE backdate.
Anyone got that powerpoint of Ashenden's on that issue?
I am convinced Garmin run a plausible deniability program for their A team. How many rode 2 or 3 Grand Tours in 2008 and 2009. That was their A team. Who reached previously unreached heights of results?theyoungest said:Despite the fact that this email seems to be written by a 12-year-old with no sense of spelling or geography, I tend to believe most of what's in it. rolfrae said:So what's going to be the reaction from Planet Armstrong? Will they just deny this as the ramblings of a bitter and broken man? Perhaps they will have some "evidence" of Landis having tried to extort money from Armstrong on a previous occasion - pay up or I'll tell everyone what we did? There's enough detail in the accusations, enough mud that some of it will certainly stick.
ProfTournesol said:you mean livestrong.org I presume, livestrong.com is a for profit site although the distinction would be lost on most punters who search for the site. It's also unclear what happens to the yellow wristband money, there's no evidence that this money goes to charity. If you look on some of the websites that rate charities, they note that Livestrong spends 45% of it's income on promotion and publicity. In David Walsh's latest book he also alleges that Lance personally pockets his appearance money at conferences whereas the experts that speak of course do it for nothing (unless they are being paid by big pharma of course).
BroDeal said:I think it answers questions raised by his SCA deposition. If I remember right he claimed that he did not know how much money he had given to the UCI nor how many times he had given money. The implication was that he had made more than one payment but did not want to reveal that and did not want to flat out lie about it. He must have paid off the UCI for corticosteroids in 1999 and again in 2001 for EPO.
lets see how JV handles this.Ferminal said:So this is the proper list of names implicated and currently involved in a team in 2010.

It would be interesting to see if that actually happened or if he just took credit for it in advance like so many other things (personal testing program, being the best teammate Contador ever had, etc.)

Their policy was to rest riders whose numbers needed to be clarified. I would say he redshirt White and DZ starting now, until they can resolve the allegations by FL.
exactly, simple expedience, instructive to his real policy.issoisso said:He won't rest DZ. Not until California is finished, at least
I want to believe JV wants the best for a clean sport, but his oblique non-denial and inconsistent behavior make it damn hard

rolfrae said:The only ways round it for Dave Z are either to say he went to Garmin because they offered him a chance to race clean without all transfusions etc that went on at Postal, or to deny it all ever happened.
Dr. Maserati said:Don't forget that in the Vanity Fair interview he said the Global Cancer Summit would take place in Paris - of course this was before he got the ok to ride the 2009 Tour.
Where was the conference? Dublin, Ireland - it started the day after the Tour of Ireland, which was shortened to 3 days because of the 'economic downturn' - strange that the race is reverting back to a 5 day this year even though Ireland is still in the mire economically.
