So Tom gained seven seconds on Froome. Somewhere Froome is going to have to drop him significantly on one of the mountain stages because Dumoulin has edge in TT.
It looked today like Tom suddenly had the edge on him uphill as well.

I still don't believe Thomas can keep yellow until Paris. Froome seems like a more sensible bet.

Nibalis fight back was nice, but lets not kid ourselfs. He only came nearly back because others didn't go full.

So Dumoulin might fade in the 3rd week and the only other legit contender is taken out by a motorbike...

"G" winning stages back to back :D
The Magic Kenyan being asked to knock the attack
Everybody just hanging for their lives
Nibs knocked down by G's back wheel
Bardet tried hard, but what else can he do against the SKY might?

What with all the sky cynicism can we share a bit around for Dumoulin?

There's indeed been very little between them so far in their Giro and Tour double attempt.

Yes, but he still caught Roglic and finished ahead of the other guys.

If my calculations are correct, time limit is just under 35 minutes. Gruzdev and Taaramäe would surely be gone, close for some others.

Excellent show on the Alpe d' Huez!
Congrats to the riders.

Great stage.
Great stage? If it was not for Kruijswijk and the Gendarmerie I would have fell asleep

Switch sports if you dont think that was exciting.
Boy, when I started watching this sport the guy on my avatar was racing. I've seen worse days and for sure I won't stop watching because of a bunch of white robots.

Question is: will Nibali get favourite's group's time as Froome did on Mt Ventoux? He clearly would have finished with them without the moto running him over.

Sure, but its not like he would have ridden away from the top group. Probably same time as Bardet/Froome i would say.

Instead, I'd say Dumo needs to drop Thomas. He's got a substantial lead on both and has been the strongest guy in the race.
