I still don't believe Thomas can keep yellow until Paris. Froome seems like a more sensible bet.

Indeed Thomas's highest finish in a 3 week tour is 15th.

And was 4th in that Tour till stage 18 until he had to give his bike to Froome and sacrafice his chances.. While domestiquing shitton

That was the thought process with Miguel Indurain before he won his first TDF......Thomas is looking good.

Question is: will Nibali get favourite's group's time as Froome did on Mt Ventoux? He clearly would have finished with them without the moto running him over.
Doesn't ride for Sky

But the prince has money as well...they won´t do it...he didn´t panic (Froome) and only lost seconds.

So Tom gained seven seconds on Froome. Somewhere Froome is going to have to drop him significantly on one of the mountain stages because Dumoulin has edge in TT.
It looked today like Tom suddenly had the edge on him uphill as well.

Yes. Let's hope he can hold form. Only one mountain finish in Pyrennes and also Mende.

Copeland needs to barge into the commissaire's van like Brailsford or maybe Slongo, he's fatter.

Thomas ... "I'm still riding for Froomey. Froomey's the man."

So he would really throw away his one chance to win the Tour??????

Indurain is indeed the right comparison

Thomas first rider to win two consecutive stages on the Alps in 25 years. Since Rominger in 1993.

Geraint Thomas.

And btw, Nibali and Roglic were 1 minute back, they only came back because the first ones were slowing
I think the GPS was kind of going crazy again.

More likely to be Giro GPS than anything else

Except that, you know, Indurain was 26 and Thomas is 32.

And why do you they were slowing? Waiting for Nibali you reckon?

I hand stopped Nibali after the crash and it was 37 seconds shortly after.
