Indeed Thomas's highest finish in a 3 week tour is 15th.

So Tom gained seven seconds on Froome. Somewhere Froome is going to have to drop him significantly on one of the mountain stages because Dumoulin has edge in TT.

It looked today like Tom suddenly had the edge on him uphill as well.

Yes. Let's hope he can hold form. Only one mountain finish in Pyrennes and also Mende.

But on the other hand they were both slowed down by that crash that happened I think. I'm pretty sure they would stay with the group otherwise.

I hand stopped Nibali after the crash and it was 37 seconds shortly after.
