This climb actually suits Tom really well. Long and mostly steady. Smart tactic to go early. He's the one that can threaten Froome in TT so any time gains are accentuated.

His teammates still did a lot of work leading up to the last climb. While his priority may be the polka dots, he for sure wouldn't mind a win.
