Thomas and Sky with boos ringing out. Tour over!

A couple of boos from idiots. The real cycling fans will have appreciated what they have just witnessed.

How do you like the FREAK SHOW?
They are killing the sport. It hasn’t become like F1 where the team you are in matters more than the quality of the pilot

Well hopefully Sky decide to keep the race interesting and let Thomas race against Froome.

Yeah, give us the duell we never got with Wiggins and Froome or Froome and Porte :D

I don't see Thomas winning the whole thing. He's going to crack at some point. Especially if he's going to have to race against Froome.

Cue criticism for the other riders for not attacking.

When the reality is that reknowned mountain goats were simply struggling to hold on with the infernal pace set by Sky.

At least Froome cant attack G in yellow now... surely?

Dumo is our last hope even though he probably gonna have to pay for the effort put in today on tomorrows stage :(

Nah, Froomes ego won't allow Thomas to stay there

Same old story. The only surprise for me was Dumoulin's ride. Looks like he has a shot for that last podium spot after Sky goes 1 & 2 for the Tour. Done and dusted, as we knew it would be before Stage 1 had even begun.

This was just impressive. Sometimes I get the hate but today we saw the two strongest riders of the day attack at separate times and just playing with the field. They're just better right now, like Contador used to just be better and Armstrong before him.

Im pretty new to cycling scene, but that was so impressive last attack by Thomas.

It's like Usain Bolt winning a marathon

If Usain Bolt had consistently been competitive in half-marathons and shown he was capable of a top 10 in a marathon.

Not watching the Tour as promised, just passing by after the result to advice you guys to do the same.
Will one day the freak-show stop?

Sure, but what do they both have in common?

Well we know who the leader of Movistar is now, and he's just not strong enough at the moment. I'm sure Quintana will come good late once he's already lost it.

Days like today make want to puke!

I have never been a Sky hater, but seeing Thomas do this. Seriously.

6 Sky Riders on the last mountain.

Who wants mountain goats anymore. Go get your big guy. They can climb better than goats.

We can't complain it wasn't entertaining.

Must be disappointing for Nieve, stage victories in both GTs would be nice, but the former teammate didn't think so.
Maybe this edition is another teammates story. Maybe that's where drama lies.
