It's a 'farming incident'.

It's related to similar protests in Toulouse area, about government subsidies, bad situation for a long time in southwest France

This was a polite protest in comparison, since they didn't set the hay-bales on fire this time

Although I don't like it affecting the race I've always admired the direct action the French take, the Brits are pathetic in comparison.

Sky closed down a big, promising group which had Valverde. That's the one big thing they've done so far.

That's good, but it would have been better if Quintana, Fuglsang or Kruijswijk were in the group. Bernal was nearly dropping from the peloton. The only way to break Sky is to not make them work on their own terms.
