Sky's strength is **** stupid.
TBF this might be the best grand tour team in history, but I'm bored!

Common Nairo, Mikel, Romain, Tom, Chris can someone attack ffs.
Are they all happy with not winning?
2016 sky tour team was stronger
It most certainly wasn't.

This team is insane and has all parts covered, especially the mountains.
No love for 2012? A year which had Froome and Porte as climbing domestiques. Was so good with 7 riders, that they could take Cavendish and a lead-out man and win three sprints, including on the Champs Elysees as well.

In 2016 it was Froome, G, Landa, Stannard, Rowe, Poels, Kiri, Nieve, Henao.

So looking at the differences & that it's now 8 riders, and given that Landa did f*ck all that tour it's basically:

Moscon, Kwiat, Castro & Bernal vs Stannard, Nieve, Henao, & Kiri.

IMO I prefer 2018, especially as I think G, Rowe & Poels are better than ever.

Apparently Dan Martin has asked the UCI to forbid the super tuck position on descents

What a whiny brat

It’s a pretty widespread view that it’s unnecessarily dangerous and particularly so when kids and fat old lads try to imitate it.

This team is much better, but 2012 was probably better relatively to their weak opponents.

2012 was such a joke that Wiggins could lead Cavendish out for a stage win.

Yeah, that was ludicrously dominant. The teams of the last few years might have more depth of talent - but nothing comes close to Froome as a super-domestique and Porte as back-up, in terms of aabsolute quality.

Kangert on a suicide mission.
Could be he's one of a few who have judged the stage correctly. A full on 2 hour effort. Whereas the peloton will be getting to the finish with loads left in the tank.
