How much is expected ?

On form from you usual opinions on what will happen If you expect BMC to lose a lot of time they probably will win. :p

I'd say they are excpected to loose 30-40 seconds on the winner and 20 seconds to Leopard and Saxo Bank.
I thint they'll end up 1.03 minute down on the stage winner.

be realistic and just compare the names to other teams. BMC will not gain anything on anyone

not the strong teams like rabo or leopard. But i believe they might manage to gain some time from teams like euskatel, liquigas, OPL and maybe others.

BMC will find a way to loose more time then excpectzed. But 23km no reasons to worry for anyone. It's more of a show then a race that actual ads something to the GC

Don't under estimate BMC in the TTT. They will be a force to be reckoned with. They have quite a strong team for the TTT and I expect them to be very competitive.

DT summed it up. They might be motivated, but most teams will be, and on paper they really aren't a match for the better squads.

Would be a tough ask though wouldn't rule it out. I am tipping Rabo to finish at least top 5.

Never said motivated as obviously all teams will but I think the team is of a high quality for the TTT.

Apparently l'equipe did a survey with the 94 DS and riders.
84 procent of the voters think Contador will win the Tour.
Schleck places in second.
Evans in third.
Gesink fourth.
Basso fifth.

Only Cancellara and Marc Sergeant place VDB2 on the podium.
Revelation of the Tour is expected to be Christophe Kern.

Gilbert picked himself as revelation of this year's Tour :)

Cav or Gilbert to leave the Tour with most stage wins?

Even though Gilbert could/should win stages I still think Cav is a safe bet I would be very surprised if Cav took less than 3 stages.

Yeah I was being fairly down on his chances. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he won all of "his" stages.

Gilbert will probably take 3 to 4 stages, Cav 5 or 6. Wouldn't even be surprised if they take 10 stages combined.

Yeah, but somehow when Gilbert says it he doesn't sound nearly as cocky as Ricco. He has this special tone in his voice I find very funny :p

I predict: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

A sleeper

Group tempo through the mountains to the ITT. Contador following Saxo,Liqui and Shack Domestique wheel as long as he needs to. Perhaps a total of 30k of excitement

I think that's because he sounds like he might not be 100% serious (just 95%), there's a kind of "Yeah, so I know it's a bit cheeky to pick myself, but meh." Whereas Ricco is just plain cocky.
